Ms.Victoria Mwanri Elangwa – CHRA, PHR and BSC expert; BA & MBA from University of Dar es salaam. Victoria Elangwa has over 20 years of leadership, coaching and strategy formulating is currently working for Tanzania Fertilizer Regulatory Authority (TFRA) which is a Government entity entrusted with the responsibility of regulating and promotion of fertilizer in terms of pricing and licensing in Tanzania in undertaking its mandated roles as Director of Corporate Services responsible for Finance, Administration, Human Resources and  Planning, managing donor funds and construction projects.

Ms. Elangwa started her HR journey with a private sector and a  Mining Giant Barrick Gold in Tanzania where she was instrumental in setting up workable systems for expatriate recruitment during start up; she then crossed over to  a state owned Monopoly Utility company TANESCO as its Head of Human Capital for over four years and successfully transitioned to a Government Department;  Medical Stores Department as Director of Human Capital and Administration for over eight  years; MS Elangwa has an immense experience in Human Resources for Health, managing Donor Relations and was in the initial team that wrote and managed the proposal for SADC pool procurement  bid for Tanzania as chairperson of MSD Tender Board; Ms. Elangwa also designed the career ladders for engineers and technicians.

Ms Elangwa is a certified Board member from Tanzania Institute of Directors MIoDT.593 and sits in the Board of World Vision Tanzania, she is also a member of the board of directors for EWURA; In a philanthropic effort to give back to society Ms Elangwa is affiliated with the BAOBAB Mastercard foundation where she mentors students from Kwame Nkurumah University Ghana; she is also mentoring emerging women leaders at CRDB Bank PLC.

Ms. Elangwa speaks and moderate sessions in EA region where her talks were voted higher than peers on performance and employee engagement; She has won the individual HR Excellence award for recognition of outstanding commitment in transformation of HR  at TANESCO and also Received Workforce Game Changer for her work in Human Resources at MSD; She has successfully led her organization to  scoop the coveted overall employer of the year award for three consecutive years in the Public Sector organized by Association and Tanzania Employers. Mrs. Elangwa is married with four children.
